Our Sweet Annalee

Our daughter has the most amazing Foster Mother, she cried when we left. Annalee is precious, but scared and sad right now. She has stranger anxiety, so it may take a few weeks to adjust to us. She is sleeping in my arms now.

Ethan looks so proud---remind him not to completely spoil her on the way home =]
We will be out and about and not near the computer until Tuesday evening.

  2. oh that sweet, sweet GIRL!!! Even in her 'crying' photos she is absolutely beautiful! I will be praying for you all during this transition time, and I hope your flight home will be free of stress! ;)

I'm so happy to see your daughter finally in your arms. It's hard to believe that when we first 'met' neither one of us knew who are children were... and now we're bringing them home.

Much love to you as you start your life as a Mom of three <3

  6. God is so good!!! I can't stop sobbing, congratulations to y'all, and Ellen I can imagine how you felt when you first saw your sweet baby-girl in your arms. She is such a sweet, precious, pretty baby-girl....may your reunion w/ your Husband and son back home be a joyous one like y'all planned it, because we all know who is still in control and He has bigger plans for Ms. Annalee...and for her family!!! Congratulations, she's come a long way, but she is finally home w/ people that she loves who loved her even before she was born...God bless you, Nate and your Children; precious ones given to y'all by Our God who's name is more powerful than anything ever heard or seen; as we see Him do miracles through your family...Congratulations!!!!! Can't wait to meet Ms. Annalee!!!!

  9. Ellen, I am praying for you and tearing up as I type this...I am so happy for you.

So many people never fully understand the changes that children go through in the stages of grief. Know that I will be praying that God will lift you all up and put His arms around Annalee to give her peace during this transition. I am praying for strength for you, physically, mentally and spiritually. Lord please watch over this sweet family, give them peace as they begin their journey home. Amen~

  12. Oh, she is so beautiful and those pictures are wonderful. They will speak such volumes for her when she is older, so she knows what the journey entailed. I am crying because that room and the scared baby was us 8 months ago, and now I have a happy, loving son. Congrats, so happy for your family. KDjackie

  13. Amelia teared up on the pictures of Annalee crying.
In the pictures of you holding her in the carrier, she kept pointing at you and saying"There is her mommy, there is her mommy..."
Cousins are all so excited and proud. Love ya,
